Oh the snooze button, this is definitely the one thing most people will agree that it is a true blue, “love/hate relationship. The responsible side of you is telling, “Ok you KNOW, you HAVE to hear the alarm and get out of bed”! But then there is that little voice, we all hear whispering in our subconscious. Oh but you can set the alarm time about ten full minutes different from the actual time. By doing this you trick yourself into believing that you will be winning over the clock, with respect to the extra few minutes you get to lay in bed just because you can.
Yeah, we all have our own little tricks we like to play with the alarm clock. Whatever it is you do personally, this writer believes that it is also known as a “guilty pleasure”. Those little things we do that we know deep down we probably shouldn't. After all in the case of changing the time on the clock to reflect a ten full minutes difference, I mean who are we really winning out over? The clock? It is an inanimate object and holds no feelings. Its only purpose is to “Get You out of Bed”! At this point one should undoubtedly be asking ones self, is this necessary? Nah, but you will set that clock to trick yourself anyways.
Guilty pleasures, you are suppose to feel guilty correct? It would seem like this area of guilt is somewhat easier to overlook than other areas in life that one could feel guilty over. After all it is just an alarm clock and if we want to be a little guilty and not hurting anyone else, or their schedule, hey what can it hurt?
Before long you will probably have you spouse adopted to the new time on the bedside clock, and not even realize that the one he just looked at in the kitchen was set ten minutes later, than the one on the bedroom. See now your guilty little pleasures with the alarm clock have created a whole new time zone and a lazier start for you and your spouse. One day this will be noticed, and you will have to reveal your hidden little secret of trying to cheat time and lay in bed longer in the mornings. Its OK It isn't a crime really, just laugh and explain your coo key ways and whys. Then tonight set it the same way you always have!

indulge!!!
"Put a knife to your throat if you are given to gluttony. "-proverbs 23:2
Okay first thing that pops into your mind the minute you hear gluttony is probably the seven deadly sins but I'am trying to look at it as a guilty pleasure and not sin.
When speaking of guilty pleasures in regards to food, many people enjoy a host of comfort foods. It’s said that there is a compelling reason for the choc-chip cookies in the pantry, the ice-cream in the freezer, the surplus supply of candy bars and the sticky buns in the airtight containers. Comfort food is not for health reasons, far from it. Comfort food provides an excellent respite from stress, anxiety, rejection, insecurities, upset and so forth. At times comfort foods give us a sense of nostalgia or self satisfaction. Comfort foods are often high in carbohydrate fats and are certainly more comforting to other offerings. Most comfort foods are those designed to stick to the ribs and give us a sense of fulfillment. Emotional comfort is often associated with guilty pleasures. Foods such as ice-cream, huge blocks of chocolates and fries have proved to be emotionally comforting.
Speaking of chocolate, oh yes yummy rich chocolate, researchers in Switzerland as well as the U.S. found that dark chocolate helps reduce platelet activation. The majority of heart attacks and a plethora of strokes are bought about by blood clots which form on cholesterol-laden plaques in critical arteries. These clots are triggered off by platelets. Therefore eating chocolate can be healthy for you. (Next time someone nags you about eating chocolate show them my blog.)
Unfortunately guilty pleasures related to food do have a negative side
as well. Unless one walks around blindfolded they will be well aware of the global obesity crisis. Yet fast food chains are still luring the crowds, offering upsize colas, greasy fries, fat laden burgers, ice-cream sundaes laden with sweet toppings and so forth. The sugar content of some of the foods is unbelievable and the trans fat content is just as bad. But these guilty pleasures are not hidden, they’re enjoyed publicly. One may go home bloated and then berate oneself for eating rubbish but at the time it was well worth the expense. Unfortunately these guilty pleasures play havoc with one's health and well being. The calories are high and the possibility of doing serious damage to the body is extremely high. While occasionally indulging in a treat is fine, gluttony and failing to fuel the body with vitamins, minerals, fruit and so forth can be detrimental to anyone’s health.
Guilty pleasures call them what you wish, healthy or unhealthy, everyone deserves a treat occasionally.

later!!!!
why do it now when U can do it later. If it weren't for the last minute I would not get any work done.Yes procrastination,is hands down our favorite form of self-sabotage-A guilty pleasure.
But You know what The most impressive people I know are all terrible procrastinators. So could it be that procrastination isn't always bad?
Maybe. The main reason people find it difficult to work on a particular problem is that they don't enjoy it. When you're young, especially, you often find yourself working on stuff you don't really like-- because it seems impressive, for example, or because you've been assigned to work on it. Most grad students are stuck working on big problems they don't really like, and grad school is thus synonymous with procrastination.
Another reason people don't work on big projects is, ironically, fear of wasting time. What if they fail? Then all the time they spent on it will be wasted. (In fact it probably won't be, because work on hard projects almost always leads somewhere.)
I think the way to "solve" the problem of procrastination is to let delight pull you instead of making a to-do list push you. Work on an ambitious project you really enjoy, and sail as close to the wind as you can, and you'll leave the right things undone.
But wouldn't life be really mundane if everything is done on time..I feel procrastination is one of those necessary evils

The Viral
We humans crave news, yet neither city papers nor parish newsletters really cover this fascinating beat of human conflicts, joys, sorrows, and flaws. Whether it happens around the water cooler, in the locker room, or via text message, we're all guilty of a little gossip now and then. Even the most virtuous do-gooders fall prey to some behind-the-back chitchat and take pleasure in them thus infact it is inevitable.
When our conversations come to a stand still and subjects such as music and art sounds monotonous gossip becomes the life-saver.
We humans have a lust for gossip.the sweetest sweetner for an evening tea would be gossip.but is gossip really immoral and wrong??Is there something called as harmless gossip??Once again i come down to ask whether gossip is a guilty pleasure or not??
Obviously it is.gossip can be harmless but it does not necessarily mean its right. The informal network often provides the only way to understand what is happening around us. We discuss with one another the latest scuttlebutt, trying to piece together some semblance of the truth from the rumors and events of the day.
Yet the network is dangerously flawed. Because gossip seldom slows down to document its quotes, it suffers progressive distortion as it passes from mouth to ear. We've all played the party game where the message whispered at the front of the line bears scant similarity to its end product. Further, gossip is nearly always one-sided. It tries a case on the basis of the prosecution's evidence alone.
As for me gossip is inexistent just like the air around us.it is inevitable and we humans are probably tuned to chit chat.yes its a never ending debate on its moral issues but a li’l harmless hush hush to spice our monotonous days would not be life altering i guess.

http://www.
Temptation dates back to Genesis but those were the days when technology was still non-existant.Adam and Eve just had to deal with fruity sweet-tooth temptations.Wish we had it that easy.
But how are we supposed to resist the farming and mafias, the pokes and likes, the updates and comments. You all know what I'am talking about.Yes the very addictive monster networking site FACEBOOK.It tops my Guilty Pleasures List.Every time I switch on my computer my cursor very automatically clicks facebook from favorites. And assignments and exams act like catalysts for facebook. It becomes all the more tempting.
But should we feel guilty about facebook. It is quite obvious that a trade off is happening between the advantages and disadvantages of Facebook. While it increases the communication and connection between friends and the online community it also increases the risk of procrastination and makes it easier for others to stalk a user. Worse, some are actually punished for what they put on their profile and would claim that it was there only for fun.
Despite the above mentioned advantages and disadvantages of an online networking service, it still is gaining demand and popularity among the young crowd. There are about 10,000 students (professionals and young professionals not yet included) who are joining into Facebook every day. This is regardless of the age, race and country. Some are now trying to criticize the status of professionalism of this site whether it's just another fad like other online networking services are.
End of the day I feel facebook is nearing necessity for today's lifestyle.Networking is a must and if we have an easier way there is nothing like it then. But for addicts like me it is a guilty pleasure.
